Vehicle break-ins

At least 11 vehicle break-ins were reported to police between February 16 and 18 in several Wading River neighborhoods.

Police have brought additional charges against a man previously charged in the rash of vehicle break-ins in Riverside and Flanders. They also arrested another man who they said was observed "casing cars" in Flanders.

More than 40 cars have been broken into right in their owners' driveways — many have had their windows smashed with a brick or large stone— over the past couple of weeks in Flanders.
