Altschuler is running for outsourcing
FARMINGVILLE, N.Y.—The Tim Bishop for Congress campaign responded to Randy Altschuler’s new ad, “Randy’s Running for Them” today.
“If Randy Altschuler is wondering why there aren’t enough jobs in Long Island, he should look no further than his own history of outsourcing,” Bishop for Congress spokesman Robert Pierce said.
“Altschuler made millions as a pioneer of outsourcing, and his company even said it wanted to lead the move of white-collar jobs from the US. Now Altschuler supports the Ryan Budget that protects special tax loopholes for outsourcers, and Altschuler is still invested in outsourcing by as much as a half-million dollars. Randy Altschuler really is running for ‘them,’ but ‘them’ is the multimillionaires who got rich sending American jobs to places such as India, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines.”
Altschuler founded OfficeTiger in 1999. OfficeTiger taught companies how to replace American workers with workers in India to cut costs. In 2006, OfficeTiger employed 4,000 people in India alone.
