Moustache Brewing Company’s facilities are about to get a whole lot bigger.
Owners Lauri and Matt Spitz announced in a Facebook live video last night that they have signed a lease on the rest of the building that houses their current brewery, quadrupling the size of their facilities and adding a new tasting room.
The size of the brewery will leap from its current 1,400 square feet to 5,600 square feet. The new tasting room, at 1,200 square feet, will nearly be as large as the current brewery.
“Our fans are really looking forward to what’s to come in the new space,” said Lauri Spitz in a press release today. “Because of their devotion to Moustache, we’re able to make this an even better space for the craft beer community to enjoy.”
Construction on the expanded facilities has already begun, with the new tasting room scheduled for an early 2018 opening. The current brewery and public tasting room will remain open throughout the renovations.
The husband-and-wife duo opened Moustache Brewing Company in April 2014, following a Kickstarter campaign that raised more than $31,000 in a single month.
