Update – June 20, 7:50 p.m.: Shannon M. Sypher has been located unharmed, Riverhead Police said in a press release.
Riverhead Police are asking the public’s help to locate a missing South Jamesport woman.
Shannon M. Sypher, 36, is described as a white, 5’0” tall, 130 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a pink T-shirt and white sneakers.
Sypher’s family has not seen or heard from her in several days, which they said is out of character for her, according to a police press release issued this afternoon.
Sypher is currently undomiciled but in the past has used a family residence located at 72 Tutts Lane in South Jamesport, police said. She has been known to frequent the Riverhead, Patchogue and Port Jefferson Station areas.
