The U.S. Navy will hold the next Restoration Advisory Board meeting for the former Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant in Calverton on Tuesday, June 9, via Zoom.
The virtual meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and is expected to run until 8 p.m. Community members may log in up to 30 minutes before the meeting begins.
According to the meeting notice, presentations for the meeting will be posted on the Former NWIRP Calverton public website on June 2 at 6 p.m.
Agenda items include updates on Site 2, the 2025 Five-Year Review, regulatory updates from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and a question-and-answer session with Navy representatives and consultants.
