North Fork Breast Coalition will hold its annual walk for breast cancer awareness Sunday, Sept. 22, at Tanger Outlet Center in Riverhead.
Participants can pre-register or register the day of the event from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. and enjoy a continental breakfast before the 8:45 a.m. opening ceremony, hosted by News12 Long Island Meteorologist Rich Hoffman. The walk begins at 9 a.m.
Walkers are encouraged to gather pledges of support. Top fundraising awards will be given in the following categories: Young Adult (13-19), adult, business/team and breast cancer survivor. There will also be a raffle with prizes provided by Tanger Outlet stores.
The registration fee is $30. Advance registration is recommended.
