Orthopedic surgeon Peter Sultan was ranked in the top five physicians to treat osteoarthritis in New York.

“Dr. Ciminiello and Dr. Sultan are incredible leaders within our medical staff, and we are so proud of them for achieving this prestigious accomplishment, but it does not come as a surprise based on the high level of patient care we see from them and our entire orthopedic surgery team every day,” said Peconic Bay Medical Center Executive Director Amy Loeb.

“Being ranked among the top orthopedic surgeons in the state shows the advanced, quality care our surgeons are providing to their patients and is a testament to the investment PBMC has made to implement new technology and systems to bring world-class medical care to the residents of Eastern Suffolk,” Loeb said.

Dexur is used by over 500 hospitals, physicians and health care providers to annually rank doctors. They rank according to treatment of a particular condition based on medical claims, volume and patient analysis.
