A 15-year-old boy was arrested this afternoon for the burglary of the AT&T store on Old Country Road in Riverhead, police said. 

The boy, who is a resident at Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch and was not publicly named by police, was arrested at 12:32 p.m. today and charged with third-degree burglary, Riverhead Police said in a press release. He was released to Timothy Hill Ranch staff with a future court date, police said.  

Riverhead Police said in a Feb. 14 press release that they were investigating a burglary at the cell phone store. They said an unknown person broke the glass front door, entered the store and removed $175 from the cash register.
