“When you manage people, you get good people to do their jobs well,” DeLuca said in an interview with RiverheadLOCAL on a tour of the newly opened Butterfly Exhibit. “We have a great team here, and we get a lot accomplished – and that sense of accomplishment at the end of the day is what I strive for.”

Dump truck overturns on Middle Road
A dump truck overturned on the corner of Middle and Manor roads in Calverton just before 12 p.m. today, scattering waste onto the side of the road. No one was injured in the incident.
The truck, leaving Suffolk Cement, was making a left-hand turn onto Manor Road from Middle Road when it overturned, dumping paver blocks and yard waste onto the side of the road.
