Riverhead Fire Department made a quick stop of a brush fire that broke out just south of the railroad tracks off Hubbard Avenue Tuesday evening, near Shade Tree Lane.

Firefighters were called to the scene at about 6 p.m. They got the fire knocked down quickly and were cleared from the scene at 6:33 p.m.
