Regarding “Tin City: Riverhead’s forgotten slums” (Feb. 29): Great article. As a life-long Black American resident of Riverhead, born in the 1960s, I never knew this location existed. I knew about the other areas you mentioned but not this one. I’m glad this story was told. It’s part of the town’s Black community history as well as Riverhead Town history. Kudos.
