“This was a cold-blooded killing fueled by greed, treachery, and the complete disregard for Lee Pedersen’s life, all in order to steal the victim’s home,” Suffolk DA Ray Tierney said. Donatila O’Mahony, 43, was sentenced to 25 years to life in the murder and an additional 4 2/3 to 14 years for possession a forged will and attempted grand larceny.
