The town board will appoint someone to serve out the balance of Councilwoman Jodi Giglio's term. Giglio was elected to the State Assembly and takes office Jan. 1.

While Riverhead Town Hall remains closed to the public, there are several ways to make payments,Riverhead Receiver of Taxes Laurie Zaneski said.
