Flanders resident and FRNCA board member Paola Zúñiga-Tellez honored at SEPA Mujer’s 25th Anniversary Gala
Paola Zúñiga-Tellez was honored by SEPA Mujer as the organization's Member of the Year at its 25th Anniversary Gala Friday night in East Patchogue.
Supporters of SEPA Mujer (Services for the Advancement of Women) turned out for a breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages Saturday morning at Applebee’s in Riverhead to help save the organization's legal services department.
The organization is inviting all the members of the community who want to go and share with them a full breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage and drink for a good cause: saving their legal department.
“We want to recognize the people who've had a role in the community and that have helped improve the lives of local women,” SEPA Mujer executive director Martha Maffei said.
The organization will commemorate its 24-year anniversary Thursday evening with a gala event at Giorgio's in Baiting Hollow.
