Riverhead Town Police report the arrest of one person in a sweep of liquor stores targeting the sale of alcohol to patrons under 21.

Two people were charged with selling alcohol to minors in an underage drinker enforcement operation conducted by State Police yesterday in Riverhead Town.

Eleven locations checked today by Riverhead Town Police for violations of State Liquor Law rules regarding the sale of alcohol to persons under age 21 were all found to be in compliance, police said in a press release.
