A masked man brandishing a handgun robbed the Wading River Branch of Suffolk County National Bank this morning.
Witnesses said the man forcibly removed cash from a teller drawer, according to Riverhead Town police.
Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call the Riverhead Police detective division at 727-4500 or the Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-220-TIPS. A cash reward of $5,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
