Southold mounted a three-run rally in the 5th inning for a come-from-behind win over the Monarchs on Southold’s home field yesterday.
Starters Sarah Penny for the Monarchs and Ashley Hilary for the Settlers both showed great control.
Mercy took a 2-0 lead into the 5th inning, but Southold mounted a three-run rally to take a 3-2 lead and held on for the win.
