A Riverhead man was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Hauppauge early this morning, Suffolk County said in a press release.

The driver of an SUV was injured when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a pole and overturned on Wading River-Manor Road Wednesday night.

A wrong-way driver on the Long Island Expressway in Riverhead lost control and crashed on a median, his car coming to a stop with its front end hanging off a bridge abutment.
