Voter registration

Whatever excuse you’ve had in the past for not voting isn’t good enough in these times. Without participation by eligible voters, we won’t have representative government any more. It’s that simple.

The League of Women Voters will be staffing voter information and assistance tables across the East End today, including two locations in Riverhead.

Friday, Oct. 12 is the deadline in New York state to register to vote in the Nov. 6 election.
