It was a big day for the Riverhead Blue Waves.

The stands were packed at Coach Mike McKillop Memorial Field for Riverhead’s homecoming, where they put on a show for the crowd to defeat the Deer Park Falcons 41-0.

Riverhead (2-2) took control early with a touchdown carried in by Albert Daniels and were unstoppable from there. A strong defense kept Deer Park (0-4) from getting on the board, while the Waves scored touchdown after touchdown with quarterback Christian Pace.

The Waves play travel to Bellport next Saturday for game five.
