To the Editor:
Your opinion piece on the inability of Riverhead Town to keep meeting minutes (In Riverhead, the public record is disappearing in plain sight, March 22) was really shocking. To me the town’s negligence signifies both ethical ineptitude as well as the disenfranchisement of the public. We are a democracy and now , more than ever, this sort of thing is unacceptable.
Your opinion is spot on and it also applies to other townships as well.
