Awesome article on this tragic event. (Remembering the deadly Calverton Pickle Works train wreck as its 100th anniversary nears)
I never heard about this train wreck so the article was very interesting to me. I agree — there should be some sort of memorial at the site.
And, I didn’t even know there once was a pickle factory in Calverton! I learned so much reading the article. Thank you!
