Fire destroyed a wooden shed and a greenhouse at a nursery on Main Road in Jamesport Wednesday morning.

Fire did heavy damage to a home on Pier Avenue Tuesday night.

A quick response by Jamesport Fire Department Friday afternoon prevented a potential electrical fire at a home on Main Road in Aquebogue.

Once the colorful lights on the four Norway spruce trees were lit, Santa and Mrs. Claus came to town aboard a Jamesport Fire Department engine.

Firefighters were called to Gabrielsen’s Farms on Herricks Lane at 12:45 p.m. on the report of a vehicle fire. They arrived to find a fire in a pickup truck that was being used to plow snow on the farm’s roadways.
